Traditional Navajo Tacos

1 package Kokopelli’s Fry Bread
1 lb. lean ground beef
2 cups cooked beans such as pintos or black beans*

Make our Fry Bread according to the package instructions. Fry ground beef thoroughly; drain off excess fat. Heat beans. Top bread with beef and beans and any or all of the following:

  • shredded lettuce
  • grated cheese
  • chopped onions
  • tomatoes
  • black olives
  • fresh or canned green chiles
  • fresh cilantro
  • salsa (try Mamasita’s Salsa!)


Serve immediately.

*Any of our bean mixes work well for this recipe.
