Raven Toast

4 slices french bread, cut 1-1/2 inch thick
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 tsp. parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. parsley
1/4 tsp. onion powder
1/8 tsp. pure chile powder
1/8 tsp. garlic powder

Spread butter or margarine on one side of each slice of bread. Mix together all other ingredients. Sprinkle seasoning mix on each buttered piece of bread. Place bread under heated broiler until browned. Serve immediately. 4 servings. Makes a great partner to our Posole Stew.
