Product Description

Cumin-Cilantro Salad Dressing & Dip is wonderful on any kind of greens, including shredded cabbage, served with any kind of meal. But, its blend of flavors partner particularly well with your favorite Mexican dishes. This dressing works well in many applications including: a dry seasoning in a bean dip, a sour cream dip, a taco flavoring, or a rub.

The jar contains our uncommonly delicious salad dressing mix. All you need to add is oil, lemon juice and vinegar. We recommend using olive oil - not only is it considered the healthiest of oils, but it is also the most fragrant. Or, you might prefer a combination of olive oil and vegetable oil. For vinegar, we suggest using wine vinegar. We also suggest fresh lemon juice, although if in a pinch, the reconstituted will do just fine.  

Serving Suggestions:

  • Create a beautiful relish platter of mushrooms, wedged tomatoes, sliced jicama, green onions and slightly steamed green beans. On a glass platter, arrange vegetables on top of lettuce leaves. Drizzle prepared Cumin-Cilantro Dressing over the vegetables. Refrigerate until serving time.
  • Try using our subtle-flavored Cumin-Cilantro Salad Dressing as a dip. Add our dry seasoning to 1-cup & 2-tablespoons sour cream and 4 tablespoons mayonnaise.

  • For dip, ingredients needed for 1 Tbsp. of mix: 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons sour cream and 4 tablespoons mayonnaise.

For use as a salad dressing all you add is buttermilk and mayonnaise. Or, if you would prefer the dip, you need sour cream and mayonnaise.
