It contains Kokopelli’s Cook Book by James and Carol Cunkle, a fascinating collection of authentic Southwestern and American Indian recipes. Carol’s recipes evolved from years of feeding hungry archaeology participants. They are arranged into eleven complete meals, each identifying with the principal meats and vegetables utilized prehistorically. The book also contains more than 50 beautiful reproductions of Mimbres art that were hand-illustrated and interpreted by James.

In addition to the cookbook, the basket contains four of the authentic southwest ingredients that are needed to prepare some of Carol's recipes.
