During an over two hour long layover at the Phoenix Sky Harbor I must have wandered through every store in the A Concourse at least twice. One store, “Indiginous” caught my eye. It was a cut above the usual airport junk shop. On a table display I found a sampling of your products. I ended up spending over thirty dollars on your blue cornmeal muffin mix, Uncle Tio’s Tortilla Soup, and a salsa starter mix. The blue corn muffins are wonderful! The soups are fantastic. I’ll be making the salsa this weekend during a big family gathering. I am sure it will be as great as everything else I’ve tried. What I like about the blue corn muffin mix is the fact the muffins are NOT overly sweet like the stuff at the grocery store. Keep up the good work! As soon as I got home I hit your website and ordered again. I tried your “beta kitchen” black bean soup. Very nice. Hope it makes it to your regular line-up. I’ve got some leftover and will use it as a base for what I call a “stewoop” - a thick soup or a thin stew. I added fresh cilantro to it. In October I’ll be flying via Phoenix and will stop at that little shop and pick up some more muffin mix and take it to my mom’s place. I know she’ll love it too!


• Eric (OH): My family just tried some of your quick-and-easy traditional black bean soup. Loved it! I was concerned that the pre-cooked dried beans would be mushy, but they weren’t—they were nice and firm. We also loved the seasoning. It was nice to be able to put a pot of soup on and be ready for lunch in a half hour. I haven’t had the slow version yet for comparison, but I do have a packet of it, and will try it sometime soon. I also have to say that, aside from your food being excellent the green chile stew is one of my favorite dishes of any type), I love your business model: good, well-designed food kits, reasonable price, and you create new recipes that you have customers try out and provide feedback. I live in Ohio , but thanks to a recent visit to the Old Town Artists’ shops in Tucson , I am a loyal customer and will be mail-ordering again in the future.


• Bonnie (CA): I have been using the dressings as marinades for chicken, and the results are amazing! I make up the dressing as per the directions, then marinade the chicken in it overnight. I saute the chicken for dinner. Like I said, wow!, so flavorful, and the chicken cooks up tender and perfect. The Cumin Cilantro is my favorite, but the Lemon-Basil and Garden Herb were great, too.
