Brew Bread (16 oz)

instructions & suggestions

Preparation Instructions: Do not preheat oven. Grease 5” x 9” loaf pan. Combine mix and packet of nuts &/or fruit in a mixing bowl. Add 12 oz. of room temperature (not flat) beer. Mix, being careful not to over mix; dough will be lumpy and sticky. Pour dough into greased baking container, spreading into corners. Brush top of dough with melted butter or margarine. Place bread in cold oven. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Bake for approximately 50-60 minutes until top is golden brown. Allow to cool before slicing. FOR MUFFINS: Fill tins 2/3 full. Bake approximately 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees. FOR PIZZA CRUST: Pat onto pan 1/4-inch thick.

Serving Suggestions: Our Brew Bread is wonderful plain or toasted with your favorite preserves. Or, try peanut butter and jelly. If making muffins, fill muffin tins with one heaping tablespoon of dough, cover with one teaspoon of preserves, and follow with dough until tins are 2/3 full. Be creative! Make breadsticks, drop biscuits, or use other shapes & sizes of pans/oven-proof bowls. Baking time varies with thickness of dough and baking pan.
