  • Mamasita’s Mild: Not exactly mild, but as any self-respecting chile-head knows, mild salsa is a contradiction in terms. We use the mild varieties to the hottest, with this flavorful salsa coming in around 6 on the Scoville Heat Unit Scale (1= mild and 10 = HOT!).
  • Mamasita’s Hot: Habanero and hot chile powders combine to make this a scorcher! On the Scoville Heat Unit Scale (1= mild and 10 = HOT!), it's a 9. For the true aficionado.


Simple to make. Cook for 12 minutes or microwave for 3 minutes. Freeze or refrigerate any leftovers. Use as a dip, or a topping for tacos, eggs, meat and poultry. Or as a basting sauce when grilling. Use cold or hot.

  • Heat factor on a scale of 1(mild) - 10 (HOT!): 6 for Mamasita's Mild and 9 for Mamasita's HOT!
  • Makes approximately 90 fluid ounces.
  • Preparation time: Stovetop - 12 minutes. Microwave - 3 minutes.
  • Requires addition of tomato sauce.
