Our Rancher's Rice is uncommonly delicious thanks to natural whole grain brown rice. Health-conscious people love brown rice in its most natural, nutritious state.
What is the difference between white rice and brown rice? Brown rice has the outer hull removed but, unlike white rice, it still retains the bran layers that give it a tan color. When cooked, it has a chewy texture and nut-like flavor. Brown rice is a natural source of bran which is rich in minerals and vitamins especially the B-complex group. Because the bran acts as a barrier to heat and moisture, the brown rice takes longer to cook (approximately 45 minutes).
Simply follow our easy instructions for perfectly cooked rice. May also be cooked in your rice steamer following manufacturer's directions.
