Product Description

This is not your typical corn bread mix. We consider it very gourmet, first & foremost, because of its flavor. It's not as sweet as most others - in fact, it has a bit of a bite from the crushed New Mexico red chiles that we've added. And, it has a moistness not to be found in most corn breads. But, if you prefer it dry, simply set the oven 25 degrees cooler and bake it 10 minutes longer.

The stone-ground yellow cornmeal gives it an interesting texture, not to mention its health benefits. We think you'll agree that nothing speaks better to our southwest culinary heritage than our Pueblo Corn Bread.

About an hour and fifteen minutes west of Raven Site sits Snowflake, Arizona, predominately a Mormon community. Home to Silver Creek Mill, it has the distinction of being the only honest-to-goodness mill for stone-grinding grains within hundreds and hundreds of miles. Straight out of the early 20th century, this picturesque mill would make a great movie set. As you may have guessed, this is our supplier for our stone-ground products. It's been a great pleasure doing business with this company for many years.
